Sianfu f Shensi October Dear Friends and loved ones Here we are in Sianfu Shejfesi We left Lanchow a day earlier thai we had planned as the road had veen closed for along tin by the Reds and had ust opened and they said it was not safe for one car to go through alone and there were seven cars some of them military trucks going through on Tuesday We had a good trip but were very sensible that our safety was due only to the protection of the angles We went
