- Summary
Christianity was illegal in Nepal until 1990. In spite of this, Seventh-day Adventists established Scheer Memorial Hospital in the town of Banepa in 1959. Richard Clark was the third missionary doctor to oversea operations at this institution. During their years of service, Virginia Clark taught a Sabbath School in her home even though it was illegal to proselytize. Virginia recalls her experience during this time and the mental struggles she faced as she witnessed to numerous Nepali children by sharing Bible stories.
