Leatha to folks. 1933 Jun 19, Kalgan, Chahar [China]. ALS, 3 pp. -- It has been a dark rainy day, for which she is happy. Started the rose garden quilt. Would love to have more fabric. Drew the pattern to show how the quilt will look. Remarks on the General still being in the hospital and how he comes to eat at their house. The colporteurs sold him $205 worth of books. Elmer is going to ask him for money for the hospital. -- Addendum, Tuesday P.M. “Dear Mother” – Leatha talks more about the quilts.
