- Summary
Dr. Phang again writes to Dr. Miller, urging him to slow down his pace. Phang would like to return to China to see his family, but travel there is still difficult. He is sure there is much in the field of food work for Miller in China and the Philippines, also a need for surgery. Dr. Phang had received a letter from his wife in China, and was happy to know she and the children were well. Dr. Phang writes of his work at the White Memorial Hospital and also at the College of Medical Evangelists, Department of Physiology. He remarks with sadness that just as the Fall Council (General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists) voted for a $3 million expansion program in connection with the College, Dr. Newton Evans, one of the founders is surely to succumb to stomach carcinoma. ccTL, 2 pp.
