Leatha to parents. 1933 July 4, Kalgan, Chahar. ALS, 2 pp. -- 4th of July, but they stayed home. Wanted to go to the Great Wall for a picnic supper, but it rained. Mentions that Elmer has pleurisy. Mr. Eric is there from Mukden to get the x-ray started. Leatha had 10 days of rest in Peking, where she stayed at the Estebs, read until late at night and then had breakfast in bed. Talks of her quilting projects.
