- On Train Dearest folks I just left Nanking and I will be in Chiao T ou Tseng at about noon I hope there will be someone to meet me The trip down has been so lonely but I have to get used to it It was heartbreaking to leave Peiping It was our first home I really do want to come to America If I am as lonesome as I have been the last couple of weeks the I will not stay here It would be better to be with my own people After all it means little to anyone else T
